Now 17 -year -old fast bowler RD Pranav Raghavendra has issued a warning for the world's batter. Pranav Raghavendra of Vellore is making a splash at his speed. The right -handed fast bowler recently bowled at the BCCI's Center of Excellence at a speed of 147.3 kmph. According to The Indian Express, it is the record for the fastest throwing by any under-19 cricketer in India.
RD Pranav Raghavendra closely believes that he has the ability to cross the famous 150 kmph speed. Pranav has also got the benefit of working with veteran fast bowler Glenn McGragra. He took a speed of 139 km per hour at the age of 16 while working with McGragra.
MRF Paes Foundation head coach M Santillathan said about Pranav, 'When I first saw him, he was bowling in 130 (kmph). In just two years, he is bowling between 135–145 kmph continuously. The speed has always been their strength. They are already very fast. We have to handle them. Pranav has played 2 first class matches against Assam and Railways for Tamil Nadu in 2024.
