Washington: CEO Brian Thompson of United Healthcare in America was murdered in December. Now US prosecutors have sought death sentence for his killer Luiji Mangyoni (26). Attorney General Palm Bandi on Tuesday called it a 'previous, ruthless murder'. On December 4, 50 -year -old Thompson was shot outside a hotel in New York. The attacker was wearing a mask and fired bullets in Thompson's back. The attack occurred when he was going to the company's investors meeting. The investigation continued for the demands all over the country. Five days later he was arrested from a McDonald's in Altuna, Pennsylvania.

Police said that when they caught it, 'Ghost Gun', fake ID, passport and a written document were found from the demand, which shows his thinking and purpose. He has described himself as innocent from the allegations and has not yet given any argument for different federal allegations. He is waiting for the trial in New York jail. There are 11 criminal cases going on in New York on demand, including killing first degree and murder as terrorism. If found guilty, he can be punished without parole.

Why was murdered?
According to New York District Attorney Alvin Brag, Mangyonne reached New York on 24 November with a fake ID card. He stayed in a hostel for 10 days. Investigators say that it took this step due to displeasure with American Health Insurance Companies. His finger prints were also found on the crime scene. Palm Bandy is calling it 'political violence'. Mangyon's lawyer Karen Freedman Agnifilo called the demand for death sentence to be barbaric. He alleged that the government is broken, protecting the immoral healthcare system which bothers Americans.

Debate in America after murder
Thompson's assassination has launched a debate on the healthcare system in America. American is one of the most spent on healthcare in the world. This shows resentment from the alleged injustice of insurance companies. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Myorcus said in December that the kind of debate that is being seen on social media after the murder is very worrying.
