New Delhi. Chennai Super Kings have suffered defeat after continuous defeat at their home. First Royal Challengers Bangalore and now Delhi Capitals demolished Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Fort in Chennai. Even though the team has lost on Chepock, the former captain set a record which was not in the name of any batsman before. Leaving all the veterans behind, Dhoni became the first batter to score 1500 runs at Dharelu Maidan.

MS Dhoni made history by scoring an unbeaten 30 off 26 balls against Delhi Capitals (DC) in the league match of IPL 2025. This veteran played a slow innings, breaking the hearts of all the fans and chasing the target of 184 runs, the team reached 158 runs for 5 wickets. Dhoni and Vijay Shankar added 84 runs for the sixth wicket. Vijay returned after scoring an unbeaten 69. CSK has lost 3 out of 4 of its 4 matches so far and he is ranked 8th in the points table.
