Premium motorcycle brand Ducati India today (March 5) has launched the updated model of its super sports bike Panigale V4 in India. The company has introduced the bike in two variants-V4 and V4 S. The V4 is priced at Rs 29,99,000 and the V4 S is priced at Rs 36,50,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The most special thing about the bike is its updated 1103cc Demosedy Stradel V4 engine, which is more powerful than Mahindra’s Scorpio-N, which is a starting price between Rs 16.53 lakh ex-showroom. The bike will compete with BMW S 1000 RR, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R and Aprilia RSV4 in India.

The bike has been introduced with new design language and advanced features. It provides features like traction control system, slide control, wheelly control, launch control, engine braking control, anti-theft alarm, cruise control, tpms and cornering ABS for safety. The bike has more than 70 sensors.

Design: Sleaker LED lights and double-handed swingarms The new Ducati Panigel V4 has made several changes in the design. Its front look has been reduced to a large extent. It has sleepers LED lights instead of Signature Triangle Projector LED headlights. Fairing and winglets have also been re -designed for better airflow and cooling.

In addition, the winglets are now more towards the center. These are body color compared to older carbon fiber finish vingles. Single-siddled swingarm is no longer now and double-shed swingarms have been replaced. Ducati says that this gives the bike better straight-line performance with more stability.

The super sports bike has been given aerodynamic design.

Performance: 1103CC’s Desmosedy Stradel V4 Engine The bike has a 1103cc Dasseedy Stradel V4 engine for performance in the bike, which has been re-tuned by the company. This has already made the engine more powerful. At the same time, its torque is reduced by 2.7Nm. Now this engine generates power of 216hp at 13,500rpm and 120.9Nm torque at 11,250rpm.

The V4 engine is now already 1 kg lighter. The engine has been tuned with a 6-speed gearbox for transmission, which comes with a by-directional QuickSifer Slip-Andist Clutch.

Features: Auto turn-off indicators with all-LED lighting setup The new Ducati Panigel V4 has a new 6.9-inch TFT display with 1280×480 pixels resolution. This instrument console provides a smartphone connectivity feature through Bluetooth. In addition, features such as all-LED lighting setup and auto turn-off indicators are available in the bike.

For rider facility, the bike has launch control, ride mode, power mode, traction control, wheelly control, slide control, engine brake control and pits limiter. Features such as buyers turn-by-turn navigation, cruise control, anti-theft feature and tire pressure monitoring system can also be customized.

Hardware: Disk Break with Swichable Dual-Chal ABS Supersport bikes have been developed on the Motogp aluminum alloy front frame, which reduced the weight of overall frame to 17%. This makes the bike perform even better on the racing track, especially at the corners. It has a 43mm fully adjustable Shova BPF Forks for comfort riding and Phuli adjustable monoshock in the rear. At the same time, for braking, the front wheel of the bike has a dual semi-flotting disk (already 10mm big) and 245mm rear disc brakes with a 330mm dual semi-flotting disc with 4-piston calipers and a 2-piston caliper. It also has a switched dual-channel ABS.

The V4 has a 17-inch forced aluminum alooy wheels, which are equipped with 120 section front and 200 section rear pirali diyablo supercorsa SP-V4 tires. The height of the bike’s seat is 850mm, but it is already 7.5kg light and its Carb Weight is 191kg. At the same time, V4 S has a full adjustable ohlins suspension at both ends, its karb weight is 187kg, which is 4kg from V4 and has carbon-fiber wheels.
