To address these issues, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (Mity) has released a list of what to do and what not to do for social media users on X (east), so that citizens can help citizens to avoid wrong information and safe online trends.
In its post, the IT Ministry has asked users to take precautions while navigating on the online platform. She recommended sharing verified information like helpline, official advice and relief updates, which may be invaluable for those living in affected areas and help others to be aware of important developments from reliable sources.
