Member units of the All India Football Federation (AIFF) met the FIFA-AFC team on Wednesday to visit and informed them that the Supreme Court's intervention in the National Sports Institution was 'necessary'. Last month, the Supreme Court had dropped the party led by Praful Patel from the AIFF and formed a committee of 3 -member administrators to create a new constitution and conduct elections, besides running the routine work of the national institution.
