Washington: US President Donald Trump gave a strong warning to Russia on Friday. Trump clearly said that both countries should immediately come to the conversation table, before it is too late. His remarks came at a time when Russia has intensified heavy attacks in Ukraine. Trump has already reprimanded everyone for not increasing the talk on the peace agreement to the Ukrainian President Volodimir Jailonsky.
Trump posted on Truth Social, “Russia is currently crushing Ukraine badly on the battlefield. I am seriously considering imposing large -scale banking restrictions, tariffs and other economic restrictions on Russia. Until the ceasefire and peace agreement is reached, these restrictions will continue. Russia and Ukraine, immediately come to the conversation table, before it is too late. Thank you!!!,

Trump's U-turn?
Trump's statement came immediately after the report, which said that the US is planning to lift some restrictions on Russia. The purpose of the Trump administration was said to improve diplomatic and economic relations with Moscow. But now Trump made it clear that more strict restrictions can be imposed on Russia.
White House strategy
According to the March 4 report by Reuters, the White House had asked the Foreign and Finance Department to make a list of sanctions that could be removed. This could have given American officials a chance to interact with Russia. But Trump's recent statement indicates that the strategy is changing now.
Biden vs Trump: Big Difference in Russia Policy
The Biden administration imposed several stringent economic sanctions on Russia after launching the Ukraine War in 2022. Under this, strict restrictions were imposed on Russia's banks, business, oil and gas industry, technology sector. When Trump talked about lifting some restrictions, he was warned that Putin will get strength and Russia's army could get financial relief. But now it is clear from Trump's new attitude that he is trying to put more pressure on Russia.
