New Delhi. Pakistan's ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan is always trolled for his broken English. This time he gave a direct answer to the question of not being able to talk well in English. Pakistan Super League (PSL) Rizwan, who was playing in 2025, was asked whether social media trolling affects him. The wicketkeeper-batsman said that he is not ashamed that he cannot speak English properly.
Rizwan, while answering the journalist's question openly, said, “I do not care about social media trolling. I am proud of whatever I say, I say from the heart. I do not know English. I just regret that I have not studied much. I am not even a percentage that I am not able to speak English despite being captain of Pakistan cricket team,”
32 -year -old Rizwan regrets that he did not complete his education. He told that his priority is to play for Pakistan and not to become a professor of English. He further said, “There is a demand for cricket from me, not English. I regret that I have not completed my education, so I have difficulty in speaking English. Pakistan is not demanding English to me, if this happens, I would have left cricket and become a professor, but I don't have so much time,”
Rizwan struggling
Rizwan's performance with the bat has not been good in recent times. He failed to convert a good start into a big score after an unbeaten 122 against South Africa in the Tri -series. Under his captaincy, Pakistan's ICC Champions Trophy had to be ruled out early from 2025. After this, Pakistan had to face the series in England. In the ODI series, he scored a total of 72 runs in three innings.
