New Delhi. The Indian women's team was announced for the tour of England just before the start of the IPL. The women's team will participate in the ODI and T20 series in England. She finished fourth among the NAT-Cover Brant, Ellis Perry and Haley Mathews among the highest run players at WPL and was the highest run-scorer among Indian batsmen. Another player who scored is wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia who was out of last November due to a wrist injury during the women's Big Bash League. Apart from Yastika, both teams have other wicketkeeper Richa Ghosh.

While India has announced the 15 -member T20 team, there are 16 players in the ODI team and both teams will be led by Harmanpreet Kaur and will be vice -captain Smriti Mandhana. Recently, in the tri -series in Sri Lanka, young opener Pratika Rawal, who scored the fastest 500 runs in the women's ODI, has been included in the 50 -over team. Pratika broke the record of Charlotte Edwards of England who scored 500 ODI runs in nine innings while the Indian player achieved this feat in eight matches. The tour of England will begin with five T20 matches and then three ODIs will be played in Southampton, London and Chester-Le-Street from July 15.
