New Delhi: A big news related to India's tour of England, which is going to start from June 20, is coming out. According to media reports, England fast bowler Gus Atkinson may be out of the first Test in Leeds due to Hamstring injury. India and England will play five Test matches in the next few months.

A BBC report said, “Bowler Gus Atkinson is suspected to have the first Test against India later this month, as his right has stretched stretch – which has increased the concern of injury to England's fast bowlers.”

The 27-year-old Etkinson suffered an injury during the only Test against Zimbabwe last month, out of which he was ruled out of the recently ended ODI series against the West Indies, which England won 3–0.

Gas Atkinson has taken five wickets three times in his 12 Tests and remains an important link in England's bowling department. If Etkinson is not able to recover on time, then it will be a major setback for England, which is already struggling with Mark Wood and Oli Stone injuries. Apart from this, due to thumb injury, there has also been a delay in Jofra Archer's return to Test cricket.

Such is India's England tour
First Test: 20-24 June, 2025- Handingley, Leeds
Second Test: July 2-6, 2025- Edgbaston, Birmingham
Third Test: 10-14 July, 2025- Lords, London
Fourth Test: 23-27 July, 2025- Old Trafford, Manchester
Fifth Test: 31 July-4 August, 2025- The Oval, London
