Vasco Kerala Blasters FC (Kerala Blasters FC) on Wednesday registered their second consecutive win in the Indian Super League (ISL) football tournament. Kerala Blasters defeated Chennaiyin FC 3–0. With this, the Kerala team now reached third place in the ISL's mark. Chennaiyin's team has slipped to sixth place with the second consecutive defeat of the current season.
George Perera Diaz scored a goal in the 9th minute to Kerala Blasters. This is the third goal of Diaz in the current season of the league. Sahal Abdul Samad doubled the lead of the Kerala team in the 38th minute while Adrian Luna scored another goal in the 79th minute to ensure the team's 3–0 victory. The Chennai team could not do anything special and their account could not be opened during the entire match.
