New Delhi. IPL 2025 starts from 17 May. The IPL was postponed due to the ongoing tension between India and Pakistan. The final match will be played on 3 June. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said in a press release that Tata is happy to declare IPL 2025 again. The first match will be played between KKR and RCB.
After extensive deliberations with the government and security agencies and all major stakeholders, the board has decided to move forward with the remaining session. Starting from 17 May 2025, a total of 17 matches will be played at 6 places with the final on 3 June 2025. The revised program includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.

May 18 – 3:30 pm – Rajasthan Royals vs Punjab Kings, Jaipur (3:30 pm)
May 18 – Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans, Delhi (7:30 pm)
May 19 – Lucknow Super Giants vs Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow (7:30 pm)
May 20 – Chennai Super Kings vs Rajasthan Royals, Delhi (7:30 pm)
May 21 – Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals, Mumbai (7:30 pm)
May 22 – Gujarat Titans vs Lucknow Super Giants, Ahmedabad (7:30 pm)
May 23 – Royal Challengers Bangalore vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Bangalore (7:30 pm)
May 24 – Punjab Kings vs Delhi Capitals, Jaipur (7:30 pm)

Let us know that all these matches will be played in 6 different cities. This includes cities like Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur and Bengaluru. Two days double header matches will be played. On May 18 and 25, 2 matches of IPL 2025 will be played. One match at 3.30 pm, the other will be played in their cities from 7.30 pm.
