Rishabh Pant Digvesh Singh Fined: Lucknow Supergiants captain Rishabh Pant and Digvesh Rathi, who are celebrating Mumbai Indians, have suffered a major setback. Both these players have been fined for different reasons.

Both these players have been fined for different reasons after this match of IPL 2025. Lucknow Supergiants won the match by 12 runs. This is Lucknow's sixth win over Mumbai Indians.
Lucknow Supergiants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (Mi) competed at Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow on Friday. In this match, Lucknow Supergiants were able to throw one over less by the scheduled time. Due to this, an additional fielder of Lucknow remained within 30 yards circles in the 20th over. However, Lucknow won the match despite this, but captain Rishabh Pant could not escape the punishment of this mistake.
Captain guilty for slow overret
Rishabh Pant has been fined Rs 12 lakh for LSG's slow over speed. This is his first violation under the IPL code of conduct. According to Article 2.22 of the Code of Conduct, if no team is able to throw the entire over in the stipulated time, then the captain is considered guilty.
Harbhajan has no problem with Rathi's celebration
Apart from Rishabh Pant, Digvesh Rathi has also been found guilty of violating the IPL code of conduct. Due to this, Rathi has been fined 50% of the match fee. In this way, the young leg spinner was hit by Rs 3.75 lakh. Rathi celebrated the style of signature in the notebook after bolding the batter Naman Dheer of Mumbai Indians. However, just after his celebration, there was a debate among the commentators that how correct this celebration is. Harbhajan Singh said that since Rathi celebrated this, he was far away from the batter. Therefore, there should be no problem in such a celebration.
LSG bought Rathi for 30 lakhs
Digvesh Rathi was included in his team by bidding a bid of Rs 30 lakh by Lucknow Supergiants. This is a violation of the second level 1 of Rathi under Article 2.5 this season. Digvesh Rathi had earlier received a demerit point in the LSG match against Punjab Kings on 1 April 2025. Now their total demerit points have become two.
