New Delhi. Left -handed batsman Nicholas Curtain has been arrested from the airport. 9 kg of drugs were recovered with goods at the airport near Canadian cricket team captain Nicholas. He was arrested for carrying a large amount of restricted substances. This batting all -rounder was arrested at Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados. Nicholas was carrying 20 pounds (about 9 kg) canbis. Which is also known as Ganja or Marijuana.

The banned substance found near Nicholas Kirton is not kept in a crime category to keep up to about 57 grams but it is not allowed to be taken publicly. If another person keeps it in large quantities, then he can be fined heavy. However, Nicholas had a drug in about 160 times more than the limit, due to which he was taken into police custody.

Who is Nicholas Curtain?
Nicholas Kirton was born on 6 May 1998 in Barbados. He has played cricket at the Under 17 and Under 19 levels for the Windies. However, he could not play a single international match for West Indies. Nicholas's mother was from Canada, due to which she was available to represent the team in international cricket. He played List A Cricket for Canada and entered his international cricket against Oman in February 2018.

In July 2024, Nicholas Cutron was made the captain of Canada in all formats. Nicholas has played 21 ODIs and 28 T20 International matches for Canada. He scored 514 runs in ODIs and 627 runs in T20. Canada was to play in the North America Cup with Bahamas, Bermuda, USA and Cayman Islands from 18 April. But Nicholas's arrest is very less likely to play. The Curtun Caribbean Premier League has played three matches for Jamaica Talawahas in 2020.
