San Francisco. A surprising case has come to light in San Francisco, USA. Where a passenger aircraft had to return from the middle way (from about 2500 km from away) due to forgetting the passport of the pilot. United Airlines flight UA198 had flew with 257 passengers from Los Angeles to Shanghai. This Boeing 787 aircraft was passing over the Pacific Ocean for a 13.5 -hour travel. Then the pilot realized that his passport was left at home. After this, the aircraft took a U-turn towards San Francisco after spending two hours in the air.
According to the flight tracking website flightradar24, the aircraft flew from Los Angeles, moved towards the northwest and then suddenly turned to the west coast of America. Paramjot Singh, a passenger going to Shanghai, said that when the destination San Francisco was seen on the screen, he did not trust his eyes. The captain announced that the passport of a pilot had been missed, due to which the aircraft has to return.
Passengers were given food coupons in the form of compensation, which Paramjot described insufficient. He was about to reach Shanghai at 6.30 pm on Sunday night, but reached 5 am on Monday. This affected his further travel and work. Angry passengers expressed displeasure on social media and demanded free flight.

The aircraft flew to Shanghai at 8:30 pm local time after staying in San Francisco for three and a half hours. The United spokesperson said that this step had to be taken due to lack of passport of the pilot. He arranged a new crew and gave food vouchers and coupons to the passengers. This incident caused inconvenience for passengers and questions the airline preparations.
