New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi appreciated the Sri Lankan World Cup winning team and said that the aggressive and innovative style of the country had made the arrival of T20 cricket.
An official said that Prime Minister Modi said during a conversation with the team on Saturday that India's 1983 World Cup win and Sri Lanka's 1996 victory played a transformative role in the global cricket scenario.
