New Delhi. Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) celebrated their first IPL title victory in Bengaluru on Wednesday (June 4) but the celebrations turned into mourning. At least four people died in a stampede -like situation near M Chinnaswamy Stadium. IPL Chairman Arun Singh Dhumal was very sad due to this news. Speaking to CNN News-18, he said, “This (stampede) is very sad. We had no idea of this event (Victory Parade). Who is organizing it? We have talked to RCB management.”
This celebration of victory turned into mourning when the fans tried to join the party inside the M Chinnaswamy Stadium to honor RCB's IPL victory. Thousands of people gathered outside the stadium and the police had to struggle to control the situation. Force had to be used to control the crowd. This did not reduce the enthusiasm of the people and many people were buried at the entry gate of the stadium and this accident happened.
