Washington: There has been a split once again in western countries against Russia. The US now vetoed a Canadian proposal in G-7. Canada had proposed that there is a need to create a task force to deal with Russia's alleged 'Shadow Fleet'. This shadow with Oil tanker in Russia is spreading the fleet in the Baltic Sea and other places. Canada is currently presiding over the G-7 i.e. Group of Seven. He made this proposal before the meeting of G-7's Foreign Ministers in Quebec.

Russia's shadow fleet is made of old oil tankers. Their identity is hidden to protect against Western economic sanctions. To keep an eye on those who violated the sanctions, there was talk of creating a task force, on which the American delegation vetoed.

Demand to change many words
According to the draft of Bloomberg received the G-7 draft, the US lobbied to remove the words 'restriction' as well as to remove Russia's words with Russia's 'ability to continue war' in Ukraine. Why America is kind to Russia?

According to a Bloomberg report, the US delegation told other G-7 members that they were rejecting the proposal because Washington is reecting its position in multilateral organizations, which cannot include any new initiative. Meanwhile, European countries are discussing plans to seize Moscow's oil exported tankers in the Baltic Sea.
