London. Russia's invasion of Ukraine (Ukraine-Russia WarAfter), UEFA (Federation of European Football Association) removed St. Petersburg on Friday by hosting the Champions League Final of Champions League Final and handed over the responsibility to Paris on Friday. The final of the men's class will be held on May 28 as per the program already decided but now it will be played at the new site. Following the decision of the UEFA Executive Committee, 80,000 viewers' stades will host it.

The European football governing body said in a statement, “UEFA wants to thank and express praise for his personal support of France's Amenuel Macron and the commitment to transfer the most prestigious event of European club football to France in the time of unique crisis.”

He said, “With the French government, UEFA is trying with all stakeholders to ensure the provision of rescue for football players and their families facing severe human suffering, destruction and displacement in Ukraine.”

It was also decided in the meeting that Russia and Ukraine clubs and national teams will have to play in neutral places till next notice. Stad de France last hosted the Champions League final 16 years ago. Then Barcelona defeated Arsenal in the 2006 final.
