Washington: Titanic is one of the most important ships in our history. But 20 years before it drowned, another ship was drowned. The ship started its first visit on the five big lakes on the Great Lex i.e. the border of America and Canada. It was described as a technical miracle, but the ship was drowned during its first visit. The debris of the ship has now been discovered after 132 years. It was one of the first all-steel cargo ships to run on Western Reserve Great Lex. It was designed to break the record of speed. It was then considered one of the safest ships. The owner of this ship was Peter Minch, who was so proud of the ship that he took it out on a walk with his wife and young children in August 1892.

On 30 September, the ship was entering the whitefish bay of Lake Superior between Michigan and Canada. Then it was hit by a terrible storm. The storm killed the ship in such a way that it broke into two parts. 27 people, including Minch's family, died. Harry W. A person named Stewart survived alive, who swam about 1.6 km and reached the shore. The debris of the ship remained hidden in the lake for 132 years. In July last year, explorers of the Great Lex Shiprack Historical Society discovered the Western Reserve ship near Upper Peninsula in Michigan. It was announced at the annual Ghost Ships Festival held in Wisconsin last week.
A ship found in two pieces
Society executive director Bruce Lynn says, 'This discovery is important. Most of the ships at that time were made of wood, but it was technically advanced. The Minch family was famous at that time. One of the safest ships in the lake is. The Society's Marine Operations Director Darryl Ertel and his brother Dan Ertel took about two years to find the ship. He put the side-scanning sonar system behind his ship. He saw a line at 600 feet depth in 60 miles north-west. A large ship appeared to increase the resolution.

Lake swallowed thousands of ships
Eight days later, both brothers came back to see the ship with researchers. He deployed a submersible drone, due to which a very clear picture of the ship was found. Darryl Ertel said that this discovery created shuddering in him. He said that the ship was quite broken. But debris was seen preserved due to cold fresh water. Great Lex has swallowed thousands of ships since the 1700s. Wisconsin State Climateologist Ed Hopkins said that the storm season on lakes begins in November. Then hot water is mixed with cold air and the winds run without obstruction on open water, which causes up to 30 feet waves. He said that the lake can then be more dangerous than the ocean.
