New Delhi: Cricket veteran Sourav Ganguly, who is lovingly known as Dada, is interested in cinema besides pitch and has proved this from a recent review. Ajay Devgan's starrer was recently released and Sourav Ganguly has given his opinion on Sports Drama 'Maidan' (Maidan). After watching the film, it was a cinematic experience watching 'Maidan' in his review.
Directed by Amit Sharma, 'Maidan' is a biographical game drama with Ajay Devgan in the role of football coach Syed Abdul Rahim. The script is co-written by Salvin Quadras, Aman Rai, Atul Shahi and Amit Sharma. Apart from Ajay Devgan, the film stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, Devyaansh Tripathi, Boney Kapoor, Nitanshi Goyal and Ayesha Vindhra in important roles. Sports drama has been produced jointly by Zee Studios, Bevyue Projects and Fresh Lime Films.
