A female scientist working in Harvard Medical School was stopped at Boston Airport. Something was found from his bag that immediately was taken into custody. America has canceled their visa.

Scientist Xenia Petrova at Harvard Medical School.
Washington: Russian scientist Xenia Petrova, who is doing research at Harvard Medical School, can be submitted. He was arrested by ICE agents at Boston Airport. She was returning from France, where her belongings found embryos of unannounced frogs. Petrova says that she was not aware of declaring them. According to him, she was taking these fetuses for a study at the request of a lab professor in Paris.
However, custom officials canceled his research visa and gave two options. The first is that they go back to Russia (with a ban on entering America for 5 years). And second- return to France and apply a new visa.
Life threat in Russia!
Petrova chose to visit France, as he was arrested in Russia for opposing the Ukraine war in 2022. This answer worsened the situation. DHS took him into custody. If the dear is done, Petrova will be sent to France, not Russia, because he has a Schengen visa. But his lawyer says that returning to Russia can be dangerous for him.
Petrova's lawyer Gregory Romanowski says that the violation of customs rules should not be the basis for cancellation of visa. He has filed a complaint in the court, claiming that the authorities did not follow the legal process. According to DHS, Petrova deliberately hid biological material. The message from her phone revealed that she was planning to escape from the custom.
