The National Pest Survelance System (NPSS) app developed by the government assists farmers in crop management. Information related to 61 types of crops is available in this app.
For example, if the mango tree gets disease, then farmers can take a photo of it and upload it in the app. In a few seconds, the app will also suggest the name of the disease and also suggest prevention measures. In this, indigenous measures and chemical medicines will also be given, so that farmers can protect their crops.
The report will reach the government directly
If the outbreak of the disease is high, then its report also reaches the agriculture department of the state and central government. After this, the officers there send the experts themselves on the spot. If there is more damage due to the disease, then compensation can also be given on the basis of this report. App download and use process
Go to Google Play Store and download the National Pest Survelance System (NPSS) app. Open the app and click on the option of “Pest Identification” and upload the photo of the crop. In a few seconds, the name of the disease and prevention measures will be found. If the report is to be sent to the government, then click on the “Quantitative Farmer” option. In this, information about state, district, tehsil and village is already filled. Fill your name and address, how long the disease has been, put this date. Upload the photo of the crop, choose the condition of the disease and outbreak. On submitting, this report reaches the government.
