
Toyota India has launched its popular full size SUV Fortuner Legendy’s manual transmission variant in India. However, the option of manual gearbox has been introduced only in 4×4 (4-wheel-drain) setup, while the rear wheel drive will only get the option of automatic gearbox.
Apart from this, the company has not made any changes in the car. The car comes in the platinum white pearl exterior color with black roof as before. The ex-showroom price of the new variant has been kept at Rs 46.36 lakh, which is cheaper by Rs 3.73 lakh from 4×4 automatic variant. Booking of this new variant has been started.
Toyota Fortuner Legender is compete with Jeep Meridian (₹ 24.99- ₹ 38.79 Lakh), Skoda Kodiak (₹ 37.99- ₹ 41.39 lakh) and MG Gloster (₹ 39.57- ₹ 44.03 lakh). However, the 4×4 system with manual gearbox is not available in the meridian and gloster.
