Kamal Kharaji, head of Iran's Strategic Council on Foreign Relations (SCFR), has said that we dismiss the current diplomatic stance of Washington but despite this we are ready for in-direct talk.

Kharaji told a SCFR reporter that in the current behavior of the US administration, we see a psychological war, which promotes the policy of 'either war or interaction'. Trump's recent letter and statements of American officials are creating confusion among the people of Iran. The aim of America is to create polarization in Iran. In such a situation, some people here feel that Trump really wants to improve the relationship between Tehran and Washington. Iran questioned the real intentions of American. Their purpose is to invite negotiations in the shadow of economic sanctions and military threats. Iran clearly said that in such an environment there is a lack of principles in the conversation. If we look at the previous experiences, it cannot be trusted.
