Washington DC: A 'suicidal' person near the White House was shot by a US secret service. The incident took place at around 12 pm on Sunday, March 9. Former President Donald Trump was in Florida during this period. “One person waved the weapon in front of the officials, after which a confrontation and a bullet was fired,” was said in a statement. The injured were rushed to the hospital, but his condition is unknown. The incident is being investigated by the Investigation Team of the Internal Affairs Division of the Metropolitan Police Department. According to reports, this person was in mental state of suicide. The local police had already informed the Secret Service about her arrival at Washington DC from Indiana.

“Around 12 o'clock at night, the agency officials saw a suspicious vehicle near 17th and F Street NW,” Secret Service said in a statement. When the officials tried to contact him, he suddenly took out the weapon. Secret service personnel retaliated and fired on this.
