New Delhi. Upcoming AFC Women Asian Cup (AFC Women Asian Cup) History is ready to create because for the first time in India, video assistant referee (VAR) will be used from the quarter -final phase of this continental competition. The tournament will be played at Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Pune three sites from 20 January to 6 February. VAR will be used in matches after January 30. In this way, this VAR technology will debut in the tournament.
During the tournament, 6 video matches will be able to see 7 different live camera feeds. VAR can review the decisions of four classes including Gol/No Gol, Penalty/No Penalty, direct red card and to give red or yellow card to the wrong player. This technique will be used till the finals to be held on 6. Preparations for installing cameras for this technique have started at the respective sites.

In addition to the stadium on the day of the match, a similar VAR 'setup' will be installed at the training location of the refections and 'simulators' will also be available in their hotel for referrals. The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) stated that AFC is leaving no stone unturned to ensure the highest standard of referring. Therefore, many technical tests are being conducted in training sites and stadiums before the VAR is officially introduced in the country.
