Popular messaging platform WhatsApp has added new New Year calling effects, sticker packs and many new features for users around the world, so that users can share their best wishes (Whatsapp New Year Wishes) in a unique way. The interesting thing is that these features will be available only for limited time from 20 December to 3 January 2025. To get these features, users have to install the latest version of the application.

Talking about the features, this platform owned by Meta has introduced new festive backgrounds for video calls as well as new years inspired by the new year. Not only this, the company has also added celebration emoji, which can be used to react to both personal and group chat. This platform will show animation to both sender and receiver. In addition, WhatsApp has specially introduced new stickers packs and avatar stickers designed for the new year.

Earlier, the company added new effects for video calls, such as Papi Years, Karaoke Mike and Underwater Theme. Now users have more than ten effects. Users can now select special participants for a group call without breaking the entire chat.

Meanwhile, WhatsApp has also added typing indicators to users about real -time busyness in chat. Along with the visual indicator, users will be able to see the profile picture of the users who are typing in personal or group chat. Tech giant has also added voice message transcripts that help users to give text-based transcription of audio messages. However, the receiver will get a transcript of voice message, not the sender. Let us know that voice messages are generated on the device and any other person, including the company, cannot listen or read or read the content.
